“Problems Resolved”

David Acri B.A. L.L.B.

I grew up in Brampton and attended the University of Western Ontario in London Ontario where I earned my Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees. I began practicing law in 1991 after my call to the Bar. Since then I have practiced primarily family law and real estate law. I also provide legal advice regarding wills and estates, and criminal matters.

I am certified as a family law mediator and as such have helped numerous people resolve their problems quickly and in a mutually beneficial way.

I serve as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court on a regular basis, where I adjudicate on all different types of legal matters.

I am actively involved in a number of community services. I am a Past President of the Peel Law Association, as well as the past Regional Representative of the County and District Law President’s Association. I am involved with the Ontario Bar Association and the Ontario Deputy Judges  Association. I am on the Board of Directors of Kerry’s Place Autism Services, and am the former Vice President of the Asperger’s Society of Ontario, a charitable organization dedicated to helping those with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism. I am also a former Director of the Elizabeth Fry Society, a charity that assists women and young people involved in the criminal justice system to reintegrate into society.

Please contact me so that I can resolve your legal problems.
